膿毒癥被定義為由宿主對感染反應(yīng)失調(diào)引起的危及生命的器官功能障礙。膿毒癥的發(fā)病機制是十分復(fù)雜的,膿毒癥誘導(dǎo)的全身性促炎階段是器官衰竭和隨后死亡的關(guān)鍵驅(qū)動因素之一。嗜粘蛋白-阿克曼氏菌Akkermansia muciniphila (AKK)被認為是一種功能性益生菌菌株,對許多疾病的發(fā)展具有有益作用;然而,AKK是否參與膿毒癥的發(fā)病機制仍不清楚。最近,南方醫(yī)科大學研究團隊在期刊《Gut》(IF=24.5)上發(fā)表題為“Novel tripeptide RKH derived from Akkermansia muciniphila protects against lethal sepsis.”的文章,該研究團隊的研究結(jié)果評估了AKK對致死性膿毒癥發(fā)展的潛在貢獻。研究顯示活的AKK能夠產(chǎn)生一種新的三肽Arg-Lys-His (RKH),這種肽能在小鼠和豬模型中都能抵抗致命的膿毒癥。RKH直接與托樣受體4結(jié)合,抑制膿毒癥期間的全身炎癥。該研究確定RKH是對抗膿毒癥引起的全身性炎癥和致死率的一種新的潛在治療方法。
本文中使用了欣博盛Mouse IL-1β和 IL-6 ELISA kits, Porcine IL-1β和 IL-6 ELISA kits 檢測了血漿中目標蛋白的含量。
